Akeidat Yitzchak - 2 vols

הוצאת Urim Publication

The book Akeidat Yitzchak - Commentary of Rabbi Yitzchak Arama on the Torah, 2 vols Translated by Eliyahu Munk.

Akeidat Yitzchak is the work of Rabbi Yitzchak Arama - a fifteenth century rabbi who was born in Spain and left for Italy when the inquisition forced him out. He was a talmudist and a philosopher, and the Akeidat Yitzchak is a lengthy philosophical overview of the Torah. Munk’s translation occasionally abbreviates lengthy sections that Munk felt were too long winded and esoteric to be of interest to the average reader.
